Shamala Puneet mentored Indian American poetess, Amy Monde. She also compiled and published ‘THE RESIDENT ALIEN’a collection of contemporary poetry and sketches by this young artist -writer.
Shamala curated the book launch as a glorious event where Padma Bhushan Ruskin Bond, released the first copy amidst intellectuals and artists in Mussoorie. The book launch was dedicated to Padmashri Tom Alter.
